Quabbin Reservoir Hiking – Gate 40 path to Dana Common – the open field

The open field of Dana Common at the end of the Quabbin Reservoir hiking trail.

At Gate 40 in the Quabbin Reservoir, you can hike up to Dana Common. It was part of the former town of Dana, MA that was disincorporated to make way for the Quabbin Reservoir.
