Halloween, the only time of the year where we subject ourselves to the emotional torment of being scared out of our wits. We don masks and jump out at strangers; we walk through dark, decrepit houses decorated with blood and guts, and we love every minute of it. Halloween is a time of celebrating the childish side of the human psyche, where adults and kids alike seek out the adrenaline rush of being frightened by things that go bump in the night.
